About the game
Game Theory Simulator: Mirror is a sci-fi narrative game in development, built around strategic mind games.
You play as test subject S-17 and, guided by Tutor, take part in a series of strategy tests. Every round you make a choice, while your opponent tries to predict your next move from your past habits.
As the tests go on, the constraints and time limits change, and a strategy that worked before can suddenly fail. Do you stick with what you know, or break your habits on purpose? When you finally change, your opponent may be waiting for exactly that.
Between rounds the story unfolds, and you slowly realize the tests are not as simple as they seem.
Highlights
- Predict and counter-predict: you are reading your opponent while your opponent reads you.
- Shifting rules: constraints and time limits change as the tests progress, so no strategy stays best for long.
- A story told through play: gameplay and narrative are woven together; the deeper you go, the more questions you have.
