By Eye – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This privacy policy applies to the mobile game "By Eye" (package name com.byeye.game) for Android, published on Google Play by the independent developer "By Eye" ("we", "us"). It explains what information the game handles and why.

Information stored on your device

The game saves your level progress, stars, Endless mode records, settings (music and sound volume, text size, language) and a random value used to generate puzzles. This data stays in the game's private storage on your device. We do not run any server, and we do not collect or receive this data. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the game.

The game does not require an account. It does not ask for access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos or files.

Advertising

The game is free and shows interstitial ads between levels. Ads are served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Through AdMob mediation, the following ad networks may also bid to show an ad:

To deliver, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the advertising SDKs in the game may collect and process:

Each provider processes this data under its own privacy policy. Learn more about Google's use of data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Play Games

On Android devices with Google Play Games, the game uses Google Play Games Services, a service of Google LLC, to sign you in automatically with your Play Games profile (if you do not have one, Google offers to create it and you can decline). When you are signed in, the game receives your Play Games player ID and gamer name. It stores them on your device to remember the last sign-in and uses them only for game features such as leaderboards. The game does not receive your email address, password or contacts. When leaderboards are enabled, your best Endless mode results (levels cleared and stars earned in one run) are sent to Google Play Games, where other players may see them with your gamer name according to your Play Games profile visibility settings. Google Play Games Services may also collect analytics and diagnostic information about its SDK. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can manage or delete your Play Games profile and game data in the Google Play Games app or at myaccount.google.com.

Consent and your choices

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other regions where it is required, the game shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. Your choice is passed to Google and to the mediated ad networks listed above.

You can change your choice at any time from Settings > Privacy options in the game. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings.

Your rights in US states

Under the privacy laws of some US states (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others), showing personalized ads with the help of the ad networks above may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as targeted advertising. If you live in such a state, you can opt out: open Settings > Privacy options in the game and choose not to have your personal information sold or shared. After you opt out, Google applies restricted data processing and the game tells Unity Ads and Mintegral not to use your data for these purposes. You may also contact us with any privacy request at the address below.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data sharing and retention

We do not sell or share any personal information ourselves, and we never receive the data described above. Apart from the advertising and Google Play Games data processed by the providers named in this policy, no data leaves your device. Data stored on your device is kept until you delete it.

Security

Game data is stored in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot access. Advertising and Play Games traffic is sent by the providers' SDKs over encrypted connections.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the game handles information, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above.
